Just above half a tank got me from Christchurch to Dunedin and a week on I am just under half a tank. There's a feature in the car that turns the car off when it's idle at lights, stop signs ect. My car is definitely petrol. It's just one of the many features this car has and possibly why the vehicle takes a while to chew through the gas."
