    So far very economical. Very roomy. Plenty of speed and pick up for 1400 cc engine due to the turbo I expect.

    My purchase was for my 2 kids that are both under 4 years of age, safety and reliability are the main factors as it's mostly driven by my wife. The VWs are known for their comfort and driving power as I've owned a number of golf's from around 20 000kms and sold them after 300 000kms without any major failures. The Tiguan is spacious enough for a normal family of 4, 1.4tsi engine is enough power to provide a comfortable and efficient travel and the fuel economy is quite good as well.

    Very sturdy vehicle to drive and it feels like it grips the road. It is a compact SUV yet deceivingly spacious which is great. The heated seats are just amazing, especially on cold, frosty mornings.
